About us

Made at our own bedtime

Tako Tales began at home with a mum of two girls between 2 and 7, a curly white dog called Jax and a lot of โ€œjust one more story, please!โ€

We write the stories we love to read aloud: funny, warm, a bit magical and always with a big โ€œawwโ€ at the end. Our storyteller Tako the octopus has three hearts and nine brains, which leaves plenty of room for kindness and imagination.
